Our Story

Hello! I’m Emarvanay and I established my jewelry brand in 2009. My story begins with inspiration from my mother. I had always been interested in anything fashion-related ever since I was a child watching my mother, who was a talented seamstress who created garments for others. By junior high I was also making outfits for my sister and me, then things evolved and I went from creating clothes to making jewelry.

In 2013, after two life-changing events, I was inspired to create a more refined collection that could be attractive to more people, which could allow them to discover their own design style. I was moved to create the Awareness Collection when my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and this became my main focus. Shortly after learning of my sister's breast cancer, my niece was then diagnosed with lupus. Both of these events had a profound effect on me and transformed my perception of life. The Identity Collection was born from the painful struggles I watched my family experience and I realized I could make a positive difference in my own way. Knowledge and awareness are the most powerful weapons in this battle. Creating Breast Cancer and Lupus awareness charms was only the beginning, and we have added Down Syndrome and Autism charms to the collection. A portion of the proceeds are donated to that cause. 

Currently, I’m working on creating more charms, such as a charm where I can add various elements that will hang off the charm. Recently we also launched the “Traveling Coin” Collection, inspired by a trip my husband took to Johannesburg, South Africa. My plan is to create new jewelry designs using some of the other coins we have collected from our travels.
